Moitará Group Theatre, since 1988, has developed a continued research on the work of the actor, searching the comprehension of the principles upon which his art is based, having, on the studies of the aspects and functions of the Theatrical Mask, the foundation to elaborate their own methodology. Along these years, the group has been accomplishing artistic, didactic and socio cultural projects through workshops, plays, exhibitions and performance lectures throughout Brasil and taking part within national and international Art Festivals.

In its headquarter – with a library and a grand collection of music and videos available to public consultation – Moitará Group realizes several meetings and interchanges, contributing with the work of other groups, artists and researchers, Brazilian and foreigners, who came from the many segments of Arts.
