The mask, with no doubt, is the most representative element of the whole History of the Theatre and within all the cultures we may find masks as elements of communication that are able to convey the essence of life of its people.

For this reason, our work consists in a theoretical and practical research of the artistic and socio-cultural meaning of the Mask by elaborating its stage function, through its handcrafting and the playing it proposes.
