Quiprocó is a ludic play that lives on Brazilian cultural Universe in order to create genuine characters, with their dreams, beliefs and morals, establishing some parallels between archetypes and Commedia dell’Arte genders.
Quiprocó bends itself on the joyful soul of brincantes (people involved in some secular celebrations throughout Brasil especially within the North Eastern parts), the innovational characteristic of story-tellers and the creative efforts spent on surviving by Brazilian people.
Within an opportunist meeting, three personas – each one in its daily routine – try to satisfy their desires, making usage of surviving strategies and, within an amusing play of comical troubles, conflicts are triggered made of pure human feelings.
This play was conceived for alternative spaces (squares, rooms, alternative theatres…).
